Sable Resources’ Management and Board of Directors bring to the Company a depth of combined mining industry experience with a clear phase-based exploration methodology. Their goal is to develop Sable’s projects more efficiently and effectively than any other Greenfield, while simultaneously working towards building additional value for investors.

President, CEO, Chairman
Over 35 years experience in mining exploration, development, and financing. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Continental Exploration Corp.; was a key individual behind Aurelian Resources (acquired by Kinross Gold Mines for $1.2 billion in 2008), which discovered the Fruta Del Norte gold deposit in Ecuador; a co-founder of Canadian Royalties Inc., which discovered and developed the Raglan south nickel belt; acquired most of the Matachewan gold camp by an RTO of Young-Davidson Mines Ltd. which was subsequently acquired by Northgate Minerals in 2005; and serves on the board of Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. Previously, he was a Director at Dalradian Resources and a member of the Special Committee which was privatized by Orion Mine Finance for over $550 million.
Has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. He holds a bachelor of science in mining engineering from Michigan Technological University and a bachelor of arts from the University of Manitoba. Currently, he is the vice-president, new business development, at Osisko Mining Corp. He was formerly managing director of global mining at Scotiabank, an investment banker at Toll Cross Securities Inc., and also worked underground and as a mining engineer throughout North America. Mr. Njegovan is also on the board of directors of Ascot Resources Ltd.; and was on the board of directors of St. Andrew Goldfields Ltd. up until it was acquired by Kirkland Lake Gold.
An accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in the investment and banking sectors. He is currently the President of JDS Resources Inc., the JDS Group of Companies’ venture capital and private equity arm responsible for investment management, Director acquisitions and project financing. Brent is also the President and Co-founder of JDS Silver Inc., the owner and operator of the Silvertip Mine located in Northern British Columbia.
Terence Harbort PhD.
Director, VP Corporate Development
PhD in Structural Geology and Tectonics. Recognised senior member of the discovery team of AngloGold's Ashanti's La Colosa and Gramalote deposits. Specialist in mapping and interpretation of ore geometries and ore controls covering various types of geological environments with direct applications to mineral economics from target generation, target definition and evaluation, and project management. Co-founder and VP Exploration of Talisker Exploration Services. Currently the Chief Geoscientist for Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd and Osisko Nominee to the board of IDM Mining.
Holds a MBA and is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants, the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia and he is a Certified member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has served as CFO and Vice President of Finance of several medium sized public companies across Canada.
Mr. Malashewsky holds a bachelor’s in business administration, is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant. He has served in various roles with a public accounting firm and for private and public mining organizations, most recently as VP Finance for JDS Silver and the development of the Silvertip Mine from brownfield acquisition, financing, construction through to sale of the project.
Ruben Padilla PhD.
PhD from the University of Arizona. Over 30 years experience in the mineral exploration industry, Dr. Padilla has completed important research at the La Escondida deposit. With AngloGold Ashanti Ltd., he acted as exploration country manager in Consulting Geologist Peru and in Colombia and as chief geologist for the Americas exploration group. He was part of the team that discovered the Colosa and Gramalote deposits in Colombia. He is the founder and chief geologist for Talisker Exploration Services Inc. Dr. Padilla is a director of UniGold Inc. and Minera Alamos Inc.
Luis Arteaga P.Geo
Mr. Arteaga is a professional geologist with more than 13 years of experience in precious metals exploration in a wide range of mineral deposits. Luis has worked for various major and junior companies including 5 years with AngloGold Ashanti in Colombia and Brazil. Luis joined Talisker Exploration Services in 2011 as Senior Geologist where he worked in Mexico, Peru, Northern Ireland and Canada on behalf of the Osisko group of companies.
Luis holds a BSc in geology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and is currently completing an MSc program from Laurentian University where he has been conducting groundbreaking research on Archean intrusion related systems. Luis is a P.Geo and member in good standing of the APGO in Ontario.
